Ultrasound Today!

From Bruce's View Point:


This baby was a total wild child in there! Lena (the tech) said she felt like she was playing a game of hide and go seek with this one! It moved around the whole time!! Upon reviewing the photos, Dr. said that from one of the pictures it looked like there might be an extra lobe on the placenta (?) which from what I understand isn't really a risk to the baby but may cause bleeding complications for me at birth. I'll have another US in a month or so to re-check that.

Oh... and did I mention - We're not finding out what this one is until delivery? (Although I am 99% convinced that it's a girl!)

But I suppose it's worth it when I feel those little kicks and flutters.

1st official weird food combo.

So I am 11 weeks yesterday and here's what I ate as a bedtime snack:

Salt & Vinegar Kettle Chips dipped in La Creme Vanilla yogurt.

New baby's first pictures!

Three is a magic number!

So... I did a pregnancy test yesterday but after about 10 seconds when I couldn't see the test line I just said "oh well" and chucked it in the trash.

I did another one this morning. I had the camera all ready - I was going to video the lines showing up and post it to my mamaboard friends. But...same thing - the pee started going over, the dark 2nd line showed up and I just chucked it - a bit disappointed because I just KNEW that I was going to be pregnant on my birthday! (How on earth had I forgotten you had to wait 2 minutes???)

So today I was taking out the trash and as I was dumping it out, one of the tests fell on the floor and golly! TWO LINES! So I dug the other one out: TWO LINES! So... On the way to the restaurant tonight for a birthday dinner with our family, mom, brother, sis and her family we stopped and got another one and took it when i got there and... Plus sign! I think everyone thought we were joking when we showed them the test. :lol





There's just something about babies and holidays with us.
Abby was conceived on Bruce's birthday and we found out on Valentines' Day that we were pregnant. We brought Nathan home from the hospital on Mother's Day. And today is my birthday and this is the best present EVAH!!!!
