Cinco De Mayo?

So... we're considering this as a "THIS IS IT" date for baby #3. My due date is May 8th but due to my history of LATE, BIG, BABIES and with the drama that went on with Nathan's delivery (and Abby as well), I'm just not going to deal with that again. I am not accepting the doc's offer for a 38 week induction - I don't think that me and pitocin will ever get along - but I feel like if any medical intervention is to be taken, it will just be a C-section.

Plus! If we do it on the 5th, I'll be home in time for Mother's Day and Nathan's 2nd birthday. :o) (My mother is rolling her eyes - right mom? :smile)

So - I *think* the plan is - If I go into labor before then, we'll aim for a natural delivery (and I hope that's what happens) but after my history with the first two, I'm not holding my breath.

So - No margaritas on Cinco De Mayo for me this year (unless the baby DOES decide to appear before then!)

And now that I think about it, Cinco De Mayo would be quite appropriate as this baby has been doing *quite* a bit of salsa-style dancing lately! (Seriously! This kid is a WILD child in there!)

(Maybe we should rethink our choice of names. Juan? Rosita?)
