blood sugar was low initially but she nursed right away and it came right up!
mom was able to come into the OR with us and she tended to the baby while i was getting sewn (and stapled!) back together so there's been no separation at all! She never had to go to the nursery and has been with us the whole time (not typical for a C-Section!)
All is well - She's warm, pink, blood sugar is now 64 - very good!
In short... She's perfect!
I'm really itchy as the spinal is wearing off so they're about to give me some benadryl.
