Sunday

this mama's heart is full.

For mother's day, Sarah slept from 11pm to 5am!

Abby drew me a picture with purple irises and said, "Mama, those are the Tennessee State Flower!"

Nathan turned two. He brought me an "oje" (orange) for breakfast and said "I lutch you, mama!" Oh I love that boy!

Daddy let me sleep in 'till 9 (even though Sarah had already let me sleep more than I had expected!) and presented me with an envelope of garden plans with a promise to rent a tiller and put out a spot in the back yard before returning to work on Friday (which happens to be our 10 year anniversary!)

Our kids sat on the bed and loved on each other while Bruce and I talked about the garden and the other lovely things growing under our care.

Sarah is now back asleep and Daddy is out with the 2 big 'uns at Toys R Us (Abby is buying a gift for her brother) and then they'll eat lunch out so they don't mess the house up! I'm here in my peaceful, quiet and relatively clean house (I'll be able to do some straightening up without the kids running behind me to undo it all!) with the windows open and the breeze blowing through. We'll have a house full of family this afternoon to celebrate Nathan's 2nd Birthday and Mother's Day.

God is so Good.
